TGIF Christmas is coming....

'Little matchbox' Christmas ornaments

This morning it was so much fun visiting some of your blog spots. I'm getting the Christmas Spirit. Thank you for inspiring me by what you are doing to prepare for Christmas.

Getting geared up to do some Christmas crafting tomorrow at the N2God Store, Saturday December 9th  at 10 am. The little match box ornaments are the cutest, everyone is unique as you place the little treasure of your choice inside. (some pictured above). Come join me if you can. The first time I opened one of these delightful little boxes...my heart melted. So sweet to see the little baby Jesus laying on the little bed of straw. The other Christmas craft idea I've planned is making 'Wintertime Welcome cones' with embellishments...birds...berries...and greenery. I'll do my best to 'show and tell' and create a post later.

It's Friday and I have a long to-do list around our farm house. I've promised myself I would 'put up' our Nativity scene later this afternoon. We'll see if my plan works out as I would like for it to look really wonderful. We picked up a bale of straw for the dog house last week. The manger will be padded nicely. Of course I waited too long and let some gentle warm days past by. It's cold outside! Maybe I'll make some hot coco and enjoy the warmth of our fire place when I get finished....oh OK....when I get some of my 'to do' list finished.

Friends...I hope you have the best weekend imaginable!

'The Pass It On' books to share shelves

'The Pass It On' books to share shelves

'The Pass It On' books to share shelves are open. One of the quests for the N2God Store has always been and remains to help share God's love . Store Hours are noted on home page  (on right).

Being an avid collector of books for inspiration, it's time for me to share.

There are good reads for everyone.  I thought it would be fun and interesting to feature one book each month.  You may find surprises and insight on the shelves and 'new' ways to enjoy your life.

Story Time for children

Would you like to help me (just leave a comment) and I'll be in touch with you.  My promise is that I will value you and your time here. Thank you in advance.

Mosaic crosses by stwant2be

Mosaic crosses as a prayer meditation
The top two mosaic crosses were crafted for two friends who were not free to join us, but wanted to. Prayers offered for them as the ceramic pieces were put together.

Messages on bottles fund raiser for Kairos prison ministry

Some ''Messages on a bottle' for Mother's Day gifts.
Yesterday all the 'Messages on a bottle' gifts fundraiser went great. Any size of donation was given to help fund 'Kairos prison ministry'. It was fun crafting the bottles and donating other unique gifts from the store and just in time for mother's day.

Come by and see beautiful 'new' religious art prints and 'old' vintage finds!

Finally the sun is out and it is turning out to be a spectacular spring day. After Mass this morning we opened God's Store and I said a prayer of thanksgiving for all the blessings of my life which included the wonderful rain although I've been missing sunshine very much. I'm looking forward to any visitors God sends and I plan to have a little time to work on a few projects.
If you are out and about, please stop by and visit and enjoy of cup of tea. I would love to show you the 'new' beautiful prints for sale. Randy has been working hard...his love and passion reproducing gorgeous antique art shines through.
One of the newest inspirational cards, that I just love is about Saint Mary Magdalene. Mary She loved our Lord so deeply.
To follow is a little of the copy on the back side of Saint Mary Magdalene prayer card The card is 5.5" x 3" and has a beautiful art of Mary Magdalene drying the Lord's feet with her hair. Really touching. Her feast day is July 22.
Mary Magdalene, or Mary of Magdala, was one of Jesus' most celebrated disciples, and the most important woman disciple in the movement of Jesus. Jesus cleansed her of "seven demons", conventionally interpreted as referring to complex illnesses. She became most prominent during his last days, being present at the cross after the male disciples (excepting John the Beloved) had fled, and at his burial. She was the first person to see Jesus after his Resurrection, according to both John 20 and Mark 16:9.
Have you have your favorite kind of Saturday and Sunday!
God is with us.

Priceless gifts to give for free...

Priceless gifts to give for free...
The gift of affection: Be generous won't you? Give appropriate hugs, kisses, pats on the back, and handholds. Give a smile especially to someone who doesn't have one for you. Your smile relays the message that they are instantly accepted.  One of the most important things we can do is acknowledge someones presence.
In life we are all after the same thing are we not? We want to love someone and be loved in return. Let your actions demonstrate the love you have for family and friends. Most of all, be kind to the stranger for you may be entertaining an Angel sent from Heaven above.
