If you are interested in attending the morning or afternoon class on Saturday, August 13, please send me an e-mail with your contact information and I'll be  in touch with you. You'll be stepping into a different season when you come in. We will have Christmas music, decorations and refreshments. Each two hour class is $7.00 and this cost includes 'art supplies for each guest to create (1) one Wooden Angel ornament and (3) three  'Cute as a button' pins. You'll have (4) four unique gifts ready for Christmas giving in August! And of course you can dig into your button can and bring some of your own buttons for crafting the pin! White old buttons give the Victorian feel and chances are, they are really  from by gone days...at least in my button can.

This class is open to everyone.  A great afternoon for friends or  Mom and daughter or son. It's never too early to start crafting Christmas gifts and most everyone loves angels don't they?

If you're out and about (Today July 23rd) the store will be open Noon - 5 pm...I'm happy to show you samples of the Angel button pin and ornament we will be crafting August 13th.

Plan ahead and join us for this early merry Christmas time! More details to come...I promise I won't change the date or time of classes. Sometimes my fingers get ahead....

Thank you,

Prayer

     O beautiful Flower of Carmel, most fruitful vine, Splendor of Heaven, holy and singular, who brought forth the Son of God, still ever remaining a Pure Virgin, assist me in this necessity. O Star of the Sea, help and protect me! Show me that Thou are my Mother.

O Mary, Conceived without sin, Pray for us who have recourse to thee!
Mother and Ornament of Carmel, Pray for us!
Virgin, Flower of Carmel, Pray for us!
Partroness of all who wear the Scapular. Pray for us!
Hope of all who die wearing the Scapular, Pray for us!
St. Joseph, Friend of the Sacred heart, Pray for us!
St. Joseph, Chaste Spouse of Mary, Pray for us!
St. Joseph, Our Patron, Pray for us!
O Sweet Heart of Mary, Be our Salvation!

Please stop by the N2God Store today if you can brave the very hot temp! Today friends and I are celebrating Our Lady of Mount Carmel. I have something 'special' for you. Can you guess what? BSOL (big smile out loud)
 ~~~
From a pamphlet from an organization called 'The Blue Army of Our Lady'-
Attach great importance to your Brown Scapular of Our Lady.
Our Lady gave her Scapular as a sign of salvation, a protection in danger, and a pledge of peace. The cloth Scapular must be born over the shoulders, one piece in front, one in back.
For 700+ years devout Catholics have worn the Scapular, the Popes have approved and indulgenced its wears, miracles have proclaimed its power.
Scapular-wearers share in the daily prayers of the Carmelite Order and the world-wide good works of the Scapular Confraternity.
A Prayer for July -William Penn (1644-1718)
O Lord,
help me not to despise
or oppose
what I do not understand.
-William Penn (1644-1718)
A Quaker and outspoken defender of religious freedom; William Penn was repeatedly imprisoned in England for his beliefs. When he received a grant of land in America as payment for a dept King Charles II owed his father, Penn sailed to the New World, where he sought to start a refuge for the religiously persecuted. His plan was for the settlers to be guided by the Sermon on the Mount. The colony, founded in 1681, was called Pennsylvania ("Penn's Woods") in honor of his father.
