Immaculate Conception Day and Enthronement of the Sacred & Immaculate Hearts at N2God Store

"Sacred Heart and Immaculate Hearts full of endless love for you and I"
This pretty double print was found in a box of fabric at a sell this summer. I was on my way to work on the store after Mass on Saturday morning.
Perfect for this is God's Store. Enthronement means we have pledged ourselves never to do anything contrary to God's Laws. We want to do His will always. We publicly acknowledge God as the true Head of our business, we dedicate to God, our work and everything we do. This is the Covenant we make with God.
(best to explain a little in case this is 'new' to you. The essence of the Enthronement is LOVE. If anyone would like more information, I'm happy to send to you.)

Our traveling treasure Christ child and Mother Mary (hand carved statue from Belgium) visited the N2God Store today. Something VERY special is in the Christmas cone...I'll share about that later. A little hint...it's about you.

Much joy for the gift of this day.
A love locket...keeping someone very close to my heart...Sarah.

Our Christmas frog is holding a note that reads - FROG - Fully Rely On God for a wonderful Christmas!
Notice the little red button on his toe? When you squeeze the toe, he sings 'Jingle Bells' in crokes (sp?).
Clipped on top, a sneak preview of one of the 'stwant2be postcards'
The store will have many with encouraging messages. God the Father art is one of my favorites.

'Be fishers of men Jesus tells us'
(message on the store note)
Can't wait till you see our funny fish...
We found the 'just right' place for the lovely 'Nativity' curtain and the vintage twinkle lights. Little fun finds from our Michigan trip this summer.
(every other star hangs on the other side of the church pew, showing in the window)
'A Christmas time sit and rest stop'

We will invite Guests 'old and new' to sign our guest book and leave a calling card or contact information at the counter in glass purse.
Pennies from Heaven in the little brass umbrella...'In God We Trust!'

Thank you for stopping by today.  More to come...I promise. I'm anxious to get the store opened and operating. All in God's timing.
First, we have some important details to set in place.
Our plan to be open  on 'most Saturdays 9am - 6pm'

Grand opening? Please stay tuned for that date.

Be blessed.

N2God for His honor and glory!

N2God mascot ~ Sarah's Angel
What a day! I feel like the most blessed lady in the whole world and God knows all the reasons why. A perfect first minute, writing my first post. It's a explosion of excitement experiencing, the beginning of the dream God planted in my heart. N2God.blogspot is a 'spin off' link from http://www.n2God.com/ (our online store open 24/7) which is almost in full operation. I'm amazed at all the little details God's taking care of. His is the Owner of all we have been blessed with. As I look over and over my first sentences of this, of this my first post I can only tell that, God made me the enthusiastic person I am. I have so much to share and welcome people of all faiths...from all denominations. An interesting truth I share is that I've learned more about God from non-Catholics in the last 4-5 years. We have so much to learn from one another. Let's strive to embrace one another's differences and learn from them. God made each and everyone of us so unique, in His image.

N2God is a basketful of many things. Mostly I wish to do my best promoting as many Catholic devotions I can, offer beautiful  religious art and 'old stuff we've collected over the years' for sale. My plan is to eventually have an itsy store on this blogspot with 'Show, Tell and Sell'. Presently the N2God Store is a quaint little Saturday Store...the kind of place I love to spend on a Saturday afternoon browsing.  I'll soon get 1/2 of that experience. BSOL (big smile out loud).

A mention of some devotions we can share with our visitors - reading/study of the Holy Bible, Mass, Communion, the Sacraments, the Universal Living Rosary, Enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary in the home, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, Chaplet of Saint Michael and many more. I will share on Saints through the numerous library I've collected for many years. Get comfortable with your cup of tea (many flavors to choose from)! We have many old books containing deep insights. Trust me, you will love the wisdom of the saints! Three of my most favorite saints, Immaculate Mother Mary, St. Joseph and St. Benedict and other saints will be highlighted.  Sharing how my Catholic devotions will bring us full circle to Christ. All in all, the N2God blog spot is for His honor and glory. We will welcome you!

The N2God journey is a most important responsibility because we are truly 'His ambassadors'. He makes His plea, his appeal through us to the world . Having this blog is a privilege I take very seriously. Of course, right along with you I'll  be learning and renewed too.
Wow...what a day I've lived today. It's not common for me to receive confirmations directly to my soul. Today was exceptional. I wish really I could say it was perfect. No, unfortunately it wasn't. I could have given much more. Oh, I wasn't that off base...just a little bit. The lady asked me at the tag sale "You're a Christian aren't you?" I smiled my biggest smile and said "Yes, I am." She went on to tell me that she was up praying for 1 1/2 hours early this morning and that she had to leave some of her belongings in California when she moved here. She was so sweet and I kept thinking to myself...um...two times this week a stranger said those same words "You're a Christian aren't you?" Sweet as it gets!
Doing little random acts of kindness is only a beginning. I realize more and more it's the bigger steps that I need to take. Joyce Meyer's message this morning was about how important it is for us to be people of integrity, people of excellence. I'll strive in that direction. My biggest quest is to live the life I imagine...I'm trying to trust God and go ahead bravely. It's said that it's not true love until it is given away. I'm in sync with the perspective that God is looking at my heart. I want to live a life 'Loving Outloud' besides living out loud blogging.
Living for Christ, being His 'servant everything' is my hearts desire. It has been the most wonderful day and I have a grateful heart for God's favor...over and over and over again today. Open hands and heart.

We, (my wonderful husband and I) have teamed up and will open the N2God Store here in Wichita sometime soon. The N2God store will be 'Open most Saturdays from 9am - 6pm'. A true labor of love? YES...because I have blisters on my knees...really...good blisters at that.  As I worked there were 'flash backs' of renovating our farm house (another true labor of love) 26 years ago. Oh, it sure isn't easy at my age to renovate a small business but...we are up to it!

Another quest is that the N2God Store will be much more of an experience than a shopping spree.  Um...you ask "Why is that?" We will of course offer unique Religious Art and items for the Christian journey and a welcoming place offering a cup of tea and smile to everyone who enters. In other words it will be place for people to hopefully be both inspired with messages (in words & art) posted everywhere. Can't come in person? Not to worry a second...I will keep our blog friends posted on this blogspot http://www.n2God.blogspot.com/ so that we can share with you too. Just wait and see!

Along side the main store, is the 'Keeping Room' where family and friends (old and new) can gather up for a fun time, scrap booking, crafting and/or simply enjoying one anther's company. Hours will vary...open at special times on special occasions. There will be a lending library and resources for Christian devotions,  Cursillo and Kairos Outside and Kairos Inside~ (Outside Kairos - a ministry for family and friends of someone who was or is incarcerated and Kairos Inside - is a prison ministry for the incarceratedd. (I'm a Kairos volunteer serving with/for women) .

Blessed and trusting God,
Patty

(This post was created July 9, 2010, almost 5 months ago. I'm so happy it doesn't have to wait in the wing any longer. A few edits/changes. Things seem to change constantly. Happy December 4th! I'm off to the store to work/paint/arrange some more.)
